Peptide Reconstitution Tool
Calculate exact bacteriostatic water dilution ratios, syringe unit tick marks, and target research microgram concentrations.
Essential Protocol: Reconstituting with Bacteriostatic Water
Reconstitution requires sterile 0.9% benzyl alcohol Bacteriostatic Water to inhibit bacterial replication for multi-dose research vials.
Plain sterile water lacks preservatives and must be discarded within 24 hours. Bacteriostatic Water allows multi-dose access for up to 28 days when refrigerated.
On standard U-100 insulin syringes, 10 units equals exactly 0.1 mL. If you add 2.0 mL of BAC water to a 5 mg vial, every 10 units delivers 250 mcg.
Always store reconstituted solutions at 2°C to 8°C (36°F to 46°F). Never freeze reconstituted peptides as ice crystals destroy molecular integrity.
