How to Reconstitute GHK-Cu (Copper Peptide): Dilution Ratios & Pain Prevention
50mg Vial + 5mL BAC Water = 10.0 mg/mL (1.0 mg per 10 Units on U-100)
Standard Diluent: 0.9% Benzyl Alcohol Bacteriostatic Water (USP)
Required Laboratory Equipment
- GHK-Cu 50mg/100mg vial
- BAC water
- Alcohol swabs
- U-100 syringes
Step-by-Step Reconstitution Protocol
- Disinfect stoppers.
- Inject 5.0 mL of BAC water slowly into the 50mg vial.
- Swirl until dissolved. The solution will turn an intense, vibrant royal sapphire blue.
- Store in the refrigerator at 2°C - 8°C.
Syringe Draw Volume by Target Dose
| Target Dose (mcg) | U-100 Syringe Draw | U-50 Syringe Draw |
|---|---|---|
| 1000 mcg | 10 Units (0.1 mL) | 5 Units |
| 2000 mcg | 20 Units (0.2 mL) | 10 Units |
| 3000 mcg | 30 Units (0.3 mL) | 15 Units |
Safety & Sterility Guidelines (USP <797>)
- GHK-Cu can cause post-injection stinging (PIP) if concentrated. Diluting with at least 5mL BAC water or co-drawing with BPC-157 eliminates the stinging sensation.
